When to start solid foods

When is your baby ready for solid foods? There's no single answer for every baby, but around 6 months most babies are ready to start solid foods. However, even when your baby is eating solid foods you should continue to breastfeed since breast milk is a vital part of your baby's diet for at least the first year or two.
